Tzora Furniture –A reputation lasting 47 Years
Tzora Furniture Ltd. was originally established in 1957 by Kibbutz Tzora as a metal plant. In the beginning the company produced bicycles but later turned to the production of office chairs and since 1974 has produced and marketed a full range of office furniture.
In 2000 the company, together with the international Global Group, established a company called "Tzora Furniture 2000 of the Global Group Ltd.", with the relation of shares 76/24 in Global's favor. The Global Group is the world's largest producer of chairs for office use, and one of the five largest producers of office furniture in general.

The company's plant, in an area of 10,000 sq m, is located at Kibbutz Tzora and is the only plant in Israel that produces all components of office furniture under one roof, including furniture for rooms and for open areas, meeting rooms, managerial units, furniture for dining-rooms, chairs for work stations, for managerial suites, dining rooms, work stations, and auditoria. The company produces selected chairs from the Global range and models of Gian Carlo Piretti's design under license. The company has 2 showrooms, one at the plant and the other in Tel-Aviv, where the company's marketing and design offices are located.

The company employs some 80 workers, of them 60 in production and in customer service, 10 in management and 10 in marketing and sales. The staff has vast experience in all of the processes needed to run a successful furniture project - planning, architectural advice, measurement, production, transportation, assembly - whilst keeping to a strict timetable.

The company set itself a prime target - Customer Satisfaction. Thus, the company established a service system "Under One Hand", which is capable of giving immediate response to all customer requests. The system includes professional and experienced sales personnel who accompany the customer, providing answers at any time and to any question, a company designer who specializes in office furniture, the planning department that specializes in planning of office spaces, a service clerk, a service manager, service and assembling teams, trucks, a quality control manager and more.

The company operates under the most advanced quality standards in Israel and world wide . In April 2003 the company was authorized to operate under the ISO-9001.2000 Standard. The company conducts standard examinations according to the criteria of ANSI/BIFMA 2002 X 5.1 which include a number of testing machines. Each shipment of components passes examinations of random samples, and only after confirmation is the shipment accepted for production. Each product that passes the production line is examined by a quality controller, who checks that the product functions correctly. Thus the company preserves high quality products and has few mishaps. This is the reason that the company grants a long term guarantee to all its products without hesitation.
